PM Modi to hold review meet over fall in rupee, oil prices

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to hold an economic review meet this weekend to assess intervention measures to stem the fall in rupee's value. The government is also expected to announce measures to check the rise in oil prices as well, the report said. Earlier, the reports in the media had said that the government in collaboration with the RBI may announce deposit scheme for NRIs to attract foreign inflows to check the depreciation in rupee.
