It's turning into a lovely, sunny day out there, as you can see in this gorgeous shot shared by Tracey Spicer. 

We're nearly at 9am so time to wrap up where things are at on the roads and public transport.

• The Lilydale line is still experiencing minor delays. 
• A broken down truck is still causing big delays on the Western Ring Road Altona-bound just before Pascoe Vale Road in Glenroy. Traffic is very heavy on approach. 
• Bus services in the west are still experiencing delays due to heavy traffic.

• The Cranbourne and Pakenham lines are back to a good service but it's Lilydale affected by minor delays now. 
• Heavy traffic in the west is causing some delays on several bus routes. 

A man was accosted by a man with a knife in Ringwood this morning. 

Police said the victim was walking south along Maidstone Street near the intersection of Vine Street at 6.45am when he was approached by another man.

The Melbourne Tram Museum has shared this great image from 1978 of not just the old X2 class tram but of Spencer Street Station pre-wavy roof and new name.
