Basketball official classes to be held in October

The Southern Massachusetts Board of Officials (high school and middle school basketball) will be offering October classes for those interested in becoming certified officials.

The classes will be held at Taunton High School, Room M115, and will run from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 3, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, and 30.

The cost of this program is $100 and is payable at the first meeting.  The cost covers the instruction, a National Federation rules book and case book, and first-year SMBO dues.  For more information, ccontact SMBO interpreter Dave Audet at smbointerpreter@gmail.com or 508-961-7433.
