Obesity Tops 35% in 7 U.S. States: Report

Americans are getting fatter.

????Not sure if some people are eating one too many burgers but new statistics show that the obesity rate has officially topped 35% in 7 states.

????According to UPI, this number increased from 5 states just two years ago.

????The two new states on the list are Iowa and Oklahoma.

????The original 5 states were Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and West Virginia.

????The report, which came from Trust for America’s Health and The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation also found that no state was able to improve their obesity rates since last year.

????President of Trust for America’s Health, John Auerbach said “"Obesity is a complex and often intractable problem, and America's obesity epidemic continues to have serious health and cost consequences for individuals, their families and our nation.”????However, he noted that prevention programs can help turn the problem around.

????Okay..

I’ll be stepping away from the fries now.??
