Guj: 3 persons accused of theft flee, two nabbed later

Three persons accused of theft escaped while being produced before a Thursday afternoon in Gujarat's district, police said.

Two of them, however, were nabbed by police a short while later, said V G of station.

The incident happened in Vapi town, about 360 kilometres from here.

Kailash Nigwas, Prakash Nigwas and Rajveer Nigwas were being taken to the residence of the for remand since it was a public holiday Thursday and the court was closed, he said.

The three had been nabbed for alleged involvement in a house-breaking theft Wednesday night, he said.
