Amber Davies, from Denbigh , made herself a household name when she won popular reality show, Love Island .

But now the 21 year old is about to become a West End performer just like her older sister.

The Love Island winner has been cast in musical 9 to 5, based on the 1980 movie of the same name - coming to London in early 2019.

Amber will be starring alongside ex Eternal member Louise Redknapp , who recently became divorced from footballer husband Jamie Redknapp .

The two ladies are joined by West End performer Natalie McQueen, whose credits include Wicked, Les Miserables and Kinky Boots.

9 to 5 tells the story of Violet (Redknapp), Judy (Amber) and Doralee (McQueen), three colleagues pushed to boiling point by their egotistical and sexist boss - played by comedian and West End returnee Brian Conley.

The musical features an Oscar, Grammy and Tony award-nominated score by Dolly Parton - including 'Backwoods Barbie' and the classic hit '9 to 5'.

Musical talent runs in the family as Amber's older sister Jade already has a number of West End productions under her belt - appearing in Les Miserables , Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and more recently The Phantom of the Opera .

You can catch 9 to 5 when it comes to London's Savoy Theatre from January 28 to August 31, 2019 - tickets will be available from September 18. To book and for more information, visit https://9to5themusical.co.uk/
