State min’s staffer assaulted

Mumbai:  A staffer from Social Justice Minister Rajkumar Badole’s office was assaulted by a man from Osmanabad. 

Arun Nithure runs a ‘Ashram Shala’ at Osmanabad. The school doesn’t have any sanction from the government and is a permanent unaided school. Nithure demanded a grant. According to Nithure, the staffer from Badole’s office demanded a bribe for giving a grant for the school. Nithure claimed he paid some amount to the staffer as first installment and yet the file was pending. 

On Tuesday, Nithure came to Badole’s office and asked about the work, when the staffer allegedly neglected him. Nithure slapped the staffer.
