Liverpool are facing a big month for and it all starts with Tottenham Hotspur .
When you look ahead to the next few weeks, the Reds face Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea , Napoli and Manchester City and at the end of it all we will see how Liverpool are really shaping up this season,
But we need to take it one game at a time and can’t afford to slip up. It’s so important to keep the unbeaten run going for as long as possible.
You can only afford to lose three or four games these days if you want to win the league, it’s mad.
The important thing is to not lose, especially against the top teams. Tottenham took four points of us last year and we can’t let that happen again.
They will be up there again at the end of the season so we need to take points off them to make sure we can stay ahead of them and the likes of Manchester City and Chelsea.
We’ve seen what they did to Manchester United , they’re no mugs. If you have an off day, they make you pay as they did against us last season.

Before last year, we always used to do very well against Tottenham. We had some great results over the years at White Hart Lane.
The defeat at Wembley last year was hard to take but we’ve come a long way since then. We’re a better team now than we were then.
We’ve got a leader at the back and a goalkeeper who is a leader as well. We will need that against Tottenham because they have got some really good players who we’ll need to keep at bay.
The likes of Eriksen, Lucas, Harry Kane and Dele Alli can all do damage in the attacking third.
But we’ve got our own threats with the front three in particular. Even though they haven’t been at their best yet this season, they’ve still been scoring goals and will always cause a side problems.
We’ll want to keep the unbeaten run going and if you get a draw at Tottenham, that’s not a result to turn your nose up at.
But we’ll go there trying to win the game and we’re very capable of that.
Front three need to step it up
The front three haven’t been at the levels that they reached last year but they’ve still been scoring goals.
For whatever reason, Roberto Firmino hasn’t been playing to his true potential yet this season so hopefully scoring for Brazil the other night will give him a big lift and he’ll come back refreshed.
He warranted that opportunity to start for Brazil. To retain that position, he’ll need to keep his level for Liverpool at a top standard.

He’s got a couple of goals in a couple of games now, as a striker that’s what you need.
He needs to be flying and hopefully this is the start of him getting back to what he’s good at.
I didn’t catch the Egypt game but it sounded very lively! You want the front three scoring goals so it’s great for us that Mo got himself on the scoresheet too.
He missed a howler against Leicester but that happens. He just needs to keep getting himself in the positions and the goals will come.
