Supergirl will make history when it introduces its newest character, and the Season 4 trailer has just given us our first look at her! Nia Nal -- aka Dreamer, TV's first trans superhero -- can be seen in the just-released trailer. She's speaking to Kara (Melissa Benoist) about fear, of all things.

"Fear. No matter how much we believe in ourselves, that never really goes away," Kara tells Nia. "I think, 'I'm not afraid of anything,' and then something chases me back down the rabbit hole. But once we catch ourselves, we have to jump right back out there."

The quick teaser also gives us a peek at Kara's new supersuit and OH. MY. GOD. It looks even better in action than we expected. She looks like some kind of insane mix between a superhero and a Power Ranger! April Parker Jones also makes an appearance as new character Colonel Haley, as does Sam Witwer, who will be playing this season's villain, Agent Liberty.
