Attended by industry experts, the summit discussed the future and key trends of MICE and leadership engagement.
Attended by more than 70 agencies from across the UK, the summit addressed London’s role in the meeting and events sector, the challenges of accommodating a multigenerational workforce and catering for changing expectations of delegates. The summit consisted of key note speeches, a panel discussion and Q&A.
Linda Plant, Director of Strategic Relations at Edwardian Hotels London, opened the event followed by observations from Tracy Halliwell, Director of Tourism Conventions & Major Events at London & Partners and James Poulter, Technology Futurist. Tracy focused on the positive offerings from the capital and the message that #LondonIsOpen. James discussed the importance of presence in a digitalised world, outlining that whilst technology can enhance a situation the benefits of a face to face meeting, when relevant and needed, is unparalleled.

The panel discussion, chaired by Callum Di Lieto Editor of C&IT Magazine, discussed enhancing delegate engagement, the evolution of delegate behaviours & expectations and enriching the delegate journey thought health and wellbeing. Panellists at this year’s summit included;
