2007 Hyderabad twin blasts: One more accused convicted

HYDERABAD: A special court on Monday convicted Tariq Anjum in 2007 Hyderabad twin blasts case. Anjum is the third accused who has been convicted in the case.
Two other accused- Aneeq Shafique Sayeed and Mohammed Akbar Ismail Chowdhari- have already been convicted by the special Court in Cherlapally last week.

Anjum is accused of giving shelter to other accused, including IM founding member Riyaz Bhatkal in Delhi following twin blasts in Hyderabad in 2007.

The court is expected to pronounce quantum of punishment to all the convicts any time from now.

44 persons had died in these blasts in 2007.
