Top 10 Fastest Selling Used Vehicles

Automotive research and sales website iSeeCars.com recently analyzed over 4 million 1-3 year old used vehicle sales that occurred between January 2018 to July 2018.

The study gauged how long certain vehicles spend on a used car lot before being sold, which provided it with insights into the fastest and slowest-selling late model used vehicles in today’s marketplace. To obtain this information, the company recorded the average time each model spent listed for sale on its website and removed outliers or data it felt was not accurate to within two days.

The fastest selling used vehicles today are all hybrid or electric, according to iSeeCars.com’s data. This could potentially be a sign that many consumers are interested in buying a hybrid or electric car, but may not have the means to afford a brand new one. “When buying a new car, hybrids on average are 20 percent more expensive than conventional gasoline-fuel cars so buying them used is an effective way to offset that added cost,” said iSeeCars.com’s CEO, Phong Ly.

Interestingly, crossovers, trucks and SUVs were nowhere to be found among top 10 fastest-selling used vehicles, despite many of them being among the most popular new vehicles today.

Below are the top 10 fastest selling used vehicles according to iSeeCars.com’s findings.
