Thiruvananthapuram: In what is touted to be the first-of-its-kind event in the city, People For Animals (PFA), Thiruvananthapuram, will organize a ‘pet and pet lovers’ meet’ at Greenfield International Stadium from 3 pm to 6pm next Sunday.
PFA is an animal welfare NGO that primarily works for rehabilitation and welfare of old, abandoned and injured animals at their shelter at Valiyarathala here. The centre houses over 150 animals and is fully funded by animal lovers.
The event includes sessions led by pet psychologists, photo ops for pets and music gigs. Awareness sessions on animal rights, interactive sessions with vets, etc will be the major highlights of the events.
Organizers said it would be an ideal meeting place for pet owners to come together and interact with like-minded individuals. A fund raiser and garage sale will be the added attractions. For details , contact 9886744538 tnn
