Xiaomi Redmi 6's first sale on Flipkart today at 12 pm: Price and offers

Indian smartphone market leader introduced the new Redmi 6 series in India earlier this month. The series include three smartphones -- Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and
Redmi 6 Pro. One of the handsets Redmi 6 is going on its first sale today. The smartphone will be available on e-commerce site Flipkart at 12pm. Interested buyers must head to the e-tailer’s site to grab the smartphone.
Offers during sale
Redmi 6 is successor of the last year launched Redmi 5 and comes with a price tag of Rs 7,999. As part of the sale, the smartphone can be purchased at a special price with Rs 1,000 off on the launch price. In addition, the smartphone is up for easy purchase with no-cost EMI options starting at Rs 2,667 per month. There is also standard EMI as well.
Bank offers include 5% off with Axis Bank Buzz credit card and Rs 500 instant discount with HDFC credit and debit cards.
Key Specifications of Redmi 6
Redmi 6 features a 5.45-inch display with full HD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone comes with metal unibody and an arc design. It is powered by quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system topped with company's own MIUI layer of customisation.
The device packs 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that is expandable upto 256GB with the micro-SD card support.
For imaging duties, the Redmi 6A comes with a single 13MP rear camera with LED flash and electronic image stabilization. For selfies, there is a 5MP camera with AI portrait mode and AI beautification mode at the front.
Redmi 6 comes in different colour options that include Black, Gold, Blue and Black.
Backed by 3000mAh battery, the smartphone comes equipped with an AI-based face unlock feature. The device sports a triple card slot which means users can use both SIM cards and a microSD card at the same time in the device.
The handset offers dual VoLTE support which means you can use 4G on both the SIM cards.
