CHANDIGARH: Congress legislative party (CLP) leader Kiran Choudhary on Sunday trained her guns towards the BJP government in Centre and state while referring to inflation as well as the
law and order situation in Haryana. She was speaking at a public meeting organized by Subhash Pali, a loyalist of Choudhary’s father-in-law and ex-CM
Bansi Lal, in the grain market of Kurukshetra.
Prominent among those who accompanied Choudhary included former Rajya Sabha MP Ishwar Singh, former MLAs Ram Kishan Fauji, Naresh Yadav and leaders from Bhiwani.
“The Modi government claims to have given gas connections to all households. Can anybody in the Centre or state provide details as to how many connections were given free of cost. The consumers were forced to pay, even extra in some cases,’’ said Choudhary while referring to problems being faced by the women folk. “They (PM and CM) are largely concerned about the welfare of ranks and cadres or capitalists. Else they would have given loan waivers to farmers then giving relief to their capitalist friends,” she added.
Choudhary flayed chief minister
Manohar Lal Khattar while asking those present to reciprocate to the contribution of former CM Bansi Lal and her late husband and former minister Surender Singh. “They both have lived and died for their workers and supporters. Now, we should make their dreams come true and weed out the BJP and INLD from Haryana,” said Choudhary.
