Turnover on NSE's F&O segment rises

Nifty September 2018 at premium

The Nifty September 2018 traded at 11487, a premium of 48.90 points compared with the Nifty's spot closing of 11438.10 in the cash market.

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's & options (F&O) segment rose to Rs 8.01 lakh crore, compared with the turnover of Rs 6.78 lakh crore registered in the previous session.

In the cash market, the index fell 151 points or 1.30% to settle at 11,438.10.

Axis Bank, and were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE. September 2018 futures traded at 653.70, at a premium from spot closing price of 651.50. September 2018 futures traded at 1,261.40, at a premium from spot closing price of 1254.40. September 2018 futures traded at 325.15, at a premium from spot closing price of 322.95.

The September 2018 F&O contracts will expire on 27 September 2018.
