Flights at a major airport in Lyon, France, have been grounded after a person drove a car onto a runway on Monday, the Associated Press reported, citing authorities.

The suspect has been detained, police said.

A video posted on Twitter, posted by @DavidPeste, showed a white car hurtling across a field toward the runway at Lyon's Saint-Exupéry airport before getting chased by a police car.

As the police car closes in, a person dressed in dark clothing can be seen running out of the car onto the field, before ultimately being chased by at least six cars and multiple authorities.
