11k Jains devotees to perform Pratikramana

Rajkot: Eleven thousand Jain devotees will perform Pratikramana together on the evening of September 13 in Rajkot. Addressing the media persons Namra Muni Maharaj Saheb said, “This is the first instance where 11,000 devotees together will do Pratikramana, this was the dream which is coming true.” The devotees of total 45 Jain sanghs will join in the Pratikramana.
President of Royal Park Shatnakvasi Jain Mota Sangh Chandrakant Sheth said, “The process to register this event in Guinness Book of World Record has been initiated and we are going break a world record.” Pratikarmana is a ritual during which Jains repent for their sins committed knowingly or inadvertently through speech or action.
