THIRUVANTHAPURAM: The CJM court in Thiruvananthapuram remanded controversial ‘alternative medical practitioner’ Jacob Vadakanchery after the complaint of KK Shailaja, minister of health, Kerala.
He was remanded till September 21 for allegedly spreading fake information on ‘rat fever’ precautionary medicines.

Jacob Vadakkanchery, on a Facebook Live video, had asked people to refrain from taking the drug Doxycycline, distributed free of cost to people in the flood-affected areas in Kerala.

Jacob Vadakkanchery, who claims to be a Naturopathy doctor has been, in the past, actively campaigned against allopathy medicine and vaccination.
