NEW DELHI: We are just two days away from the launch of new iPhones and still new leaks and rumors are surfacing on the internet. Now a new leak has emerged which highlights that the next generation iPhones will come with dual SIM functionality in some markets.
According to a report by PhoneRadar, a Chinese telecom operator has shared an ad which hints that the company will bring a dual SIM iPhone this year. China Telecom has shared a teaser which looks like an iPhone with a dual SIM card tray. The image also consists of a tagline "The new iPhone is on the market. Double card, full network. You're late, I've been waiting. Dual card, dual network, dual 4G."
So, this clearly states that Apple might unveil its first ever dual-SIM iPhone and both the SIM cards can be connected to 4G networks. However, it is not clear as to which of the three devices will sport dual SIM functionality. Rumours suggest that the cheapest of all with a 6.1-inch display will come with dual SIM support.
This year Apple is expected to launch three iPhones out of which two will come with OLED display and one with LCD display. It is expected that the 6.5-inch OLED iPhone will be called iPhone XS Plus and the 5.8-inch OLED iPhone will be called iPhone XS. The cheapest 6.1-inch LCD display iPhone is expected to be named as iPhone XC.
This year it is also expected that company might introduce the new iPhones in new colour variants as well. Some of the previous leaks revealed that this year the company is planning to introduce Red, Blue, Orange, Gray and White colour options for the 2018 iPhones.
All the three iPhones are expected to come with notch screen, gesture-based control system, FaceID support and are said to powered by company’s latest A12 processor.
