HISAR: Three days after Telengana police took action against a chit fund company in Hisar, the district police have failed to register a case against its officials, despite having received a complaint here. When questioned,
Hisar superintendent of police Shiv Charan Sharma conceded to the fact that they have received a complaint and said they are seeking legal opinion in the matter.
Cyberabad police commissioner V C Sajjanar said CMD Radheshyam and director Surendra Singh were produced in the court of the duty magistrate on Sunday, from where they were remanded in judicial custody. He said a team will investigate laptops and other documents seized from Hisar on Monday to identify beneficiaries. Based on this, a list of the accused will be made. The house of Radheshyam, the main accused, was raided.
Meanwhile, another case involving a chit fund company, Asgtecmart Solutions was reported in the district, with advocate Pradeep Siwach alleging that he and his family members were duped on the lure of huge returns on investment. The scam
Telangana police arrested the CMD of Hisar-based Future Maker Life Care Global Marketing Limited Company, Radheshyam, and his partner Surender Singh, director, and sealed its office in Red Square market of the city late on Friday. They had allegedly duped thousands of persons across India of Rs 1,200 crore in the name of a chit-fund scheme.
Telangana’s Cyberabad commissioner of police (CP) V C Sajjanar said the company had been cheating people by promising work to jobless youths, housewives and retired employees.
