Vintage cars, bikes, furniture and even homes ... all of these are available under a single roof. The two-day expo on living, travel, and auto, organised by The Hindu Group, was inaugurated on Saturday by actor and model Ragini Dwivedi. The three expos — Living Spaces 2018, Discover India Travel Expo, and Auto Expo 2018 — drew a huge crowd on Saturday.

After inaugurating the event, Ms. Dwivedi admitted that the auto expo was her favourite, and that she could happily live in a house full of bikes. “I love bikes,” she said.

Anand Prakash, vice-president, Commercial Business Head (South Zone) from Maruti Suzuki, pointed out that the expo was a perfect blend of everything that people dreamed of ... a home, a car, and travelling abroad. K. Prasad, General Manager (Lubes), Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. and Manjunath, from Riders Republic India, were also present at the event.

Many renowned brands are participating in the expo, the gold sponsor of which is Servo World Class Lubricants, and supported by Riders Republic India. A footfall of nearly 7,000 was recorded on the first day.

Prasun, one of the visitors, said he had come to the expo with his four-year-old son, who is an auto enthusiast. “I wanted him to see the vintage cars and the other vehicles,” he said.

Sankalp, a software engineer from Kengeri, was at the expo hoping to find his dream home. “I have been looking to invest in a house for quite some time now. I am hopeful of understanding the real estate scene in the city and interacting with the major builders, who are participating,” he said.

All three events are being held at TripuraVasini, Palace Grounds, near Mekhri Circle. Entry is free and the events are open between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
