The NFL kicked off the season in Philadelphia Thursday night with a match up between the defending Super Bowl Champion Eagles and the Atlanta Falcons. 

While that sloppy first game was tough to watch, this is still the most wonderful time of the year for millions of football fans, busily perfecting their fantasy lineups and ready to root on their favorite teams; all of them full of the optimism that comes with the start of each new regular season.
