Autumn in China is a time for family reunion and meal times that bring together everyone for enjoying a wide range of Cantonese delicacies. Simon Choi has been Head Chef at Shàng-Xí at Four Seasons Hotel Pudong, Shanghai ever since it opened, with his pride for his Cantonese roots is seen in dishes with heritage and flavour that represent his home of Hong Kong. Just as he cooks for his own family, Chef Simon has prepared a variety of authentic, luxurious set menus.
These special “full moon” menus are centred on the famous crispy roasted duck and also oven-baked savoury pork mooncakes – both local favourites during this season. Other special features include sweetened ginger soup, rice dumplings, and osmanthus; and seasonal autumn seafood. Available until September 24, 2018, make sure not to miss this chance to savour true Cantonese culinary culture in the heart of Lujiazui. The set menus differ based on being suitable for 4 to 6 guests or 6 to 8 guests, from CNY 2,688 to CNY 6,288. All prices are subject to a 15 percent service charge.
