Vadodara: A 17-year-old girl living in Manjalpur committed suicide by hanging herself at her home on Friday afternoon.
Deceased Mitali Vishwakarma was found hanging to a ceiling fan in a room in her house by her family members on Friday afternoon. She lived at Marutidham Society in Manjalpur where Meet Gorana, who committed suicide before killing her lover Kunjal Panchal during the same time, also lived.
Police said that Vishwakarma used to live with her father, grandfather and two younger siblings.
Her mother passed away two years back due to heart disease following which she used to take care of her younger brother and sister. Cops said that the family is clueless why the teenager took the extreme step. She did not leave behind any suicide note, police said.
“The girl’s father and grandfather said that there were no issues in the family. She used to help her siblings and do all household chores,” said a police official.
