MSU students to organize TEDx on ‘Envisioning Tomorrow’

Vadodara: Students of MSU are all geared up to host TEDxMSUniversity of Baroda on Sunday.
The TEDx, which is being organized on the theme of 'Envisioning Tomorrow', will witness a range of speakers including a Padma Bhushan awardee, a Kargil War veteran, a celebrated instrumental guitarist and a motivational speaker among others.

A motley group of students including those from Baroda Medical College, MSU’s BBA programme and from Faculty of Arts are organising the TEDx for which eight eminent speakers have been invited.

The speakers include major D P Singh, a retired officer of the Indian Army and a Kargil war veteran known as India’s first blade runner, Swami Gyanvatsal, motivation speaker from BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir, Ashwin Ramesh, who is on the Forbes list of 30 under 30 – Asia, Enterprise Technology and founder and CEO of marketing startup Synup.

This apart professor Srinath Reddy, Padma Bhushan awardee who presently heads Public Health Foundation of India and earlier served as head of the Department of Cardiology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences is also amongst the speakers.

Instrumental guitarist Benny Prasad, who holds the world record for being the fastest man ever to visit all 195 countries in the world and has recognition for designing two guitars including world's first bongo guitar and a 54 string guitar - the bentar – is on the list of speakers.

“Film actor Mukesh Rishi, founder of BNI in Ahmedabad Yash Vasant who was recently recognised as world’s youngest executive director of BNI and paranormal investigator Jay Alani are amongst the other speakers who will inspire the generation next with their speeches during the event,” said chief organiser and licensee for the event Priyansh Shah, a MBBS student from Baroda Medical College.
