Normal life was thrown out of gear following incessant rain in several parts of Odisha, in the last 48 hours. The Regional Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar has again predicted more rains in the interior areas of the State.

The Met office today issued an for heavy rain along with lightning and thunderstorm for 16 districts. District administration of Bhadrak, Kendrapada, Sundergarh and Kandhmal declared holiday for schools today.
