VADODARA: A day after an employee of a detergent company’s sales office registered a complaint of loot,
Sayajigunj police have seized the tempo used by the accused. The police said the detergent stock that was allegedly looted too has been recovered but they are yet to track down the accused. Sachin Yadav had approached the police on Thursday and filed a complaint against three persons.
Yadav had claimed in his complaint that the accused came to his office on the pretext of giving interviews for the post of salesmen. According to the complainant, the trio came to his office in Phoenix Complex and suddenly attacked him. They then tied him with a rope and looted the stock of detergent powder, some cash and two silver
rings.
Interestingly, Yadav said the accused then went to his house in Sayajigunj and stole some things from there. The police said they tracked down the tempo used by the accused from the CCTV footages. “It is bit strange that the accused went to the complainant’s house after committing the loot in his office. We are investigating the case and trying to ascertain the claims made by Yadav,” said Haresh Vora, Sayajigunj police inspector.
