The Ramgarh Police, on Friday, booked three people in connection with the lynching of Rakbar Khan in Rajasthan's Alwar.
The three arrested accused have been identified as Paramjeet Sardar, Dharmendra Yadav and Naresh.
All three accused have been booked under Section 302 (punishment for murder) of the Indian Penal Code.
The police also produced the 25-page long chargesheet and supporting documents before the Ramgarh Civil Court on Friday.
On July 21, Rakbar Khan (29) a resident of Haryana was beaten to death by a mob of cow vigilantes. He was attacked on suspicion of cow smuggling.
The post-mortem report of Khan said that he succumbed to multiple injuries following the brutal attack. Rabkar had 12 injury marks on his body and he died of excessive internal bleeding.
Following the incident, several reports emerged of police brutality and gun fire. The incident had triggered a debate across the political spectrum.
