NOIDA: A 35-year-old man was booked for delivering bouquets to a married woman’s house against her wish in Noida. The woman (38) is a housewife and lives with her husband and two children in Sector 11. The accused Aditya Jaiswal, a native of Jaipur in Rajasthan, works as a medical representative.
The woman came in contact with Jaiswal six years ago over Facebook. However, owing to some differences she started keeping a distance. “His intentions were not good. He started making phone calls and messages to me against my wish. He also started pressuring me to make physical relations. I started keeping a distance for two years,” the victim said.

The complainant alleged the accused warned her of consequences such as defaming her and kidnapping her children. She also alleged that the accused also threatened to harm her husband if she did not agree to his demands.

When she did not succumb to her demands, the accused adopted a unique modus operandi to defame her by sending multiple bouquets with different names. “The accused is also demanding Rs 85,000 to settle the score. I am in a deep mental state over the unwanted sexual advancement,” she said.

The accused, however, denied the allegations of harassment and said their relations had fallen out recently. “I had sent the bouquets to her as a friend. We had met six years ago on Facebook. Later, we had also met personally and had good relations. Due to some personal issues our relationship turned sour. But, as a friend I used to send her bouquets, and there was no ill intention,” he said.

Pankaj Pant, SHO Sector 24 police station, that both the man and woman are married separately and have their families. “Based on woman’s complaint a case under Section 354 A (sexual harassment) and Section 506 (criminal intimidation) has been registered against the accused. We have assigned cops to investigate the matter and take necessary actions,” he said.
