Cracks developed in house following piling for apartment complex

The State Human Rights Commission has asked the Secretary of Thripunitura municipality to examine whether the management of an apartment complex in Thripunitura had resolved the issue of cracks that developed in the house of a 50-year-old woman following piling.

A release issued by the Commission said that C.S. Kunjumol, a resident of Chathari near Thripunitura, had complained that her house was damaged after piling started for the apartment complex. The Commission had directed the Secretary to direct the management of the apartment project to resolve the issue.

However, the woman approached the Commission again stating that its directive was not fulfilled.
