Mumbai, Sep 6 (PTI) Groundnut oil recovered modestly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here on renewed demand from stockists and retailers.
Refined palmolein gained owing to rising demand from retailers.
Elsewhere, castor seeds bold and castor oil commercial rebounded due to fresh demand from soaps and shippers industries.
Linseed oil also recouped following renewed demand from paint and allied industries.
In the edibles segment, groundnut oil moved up by Rs 5 to Rs 895 per 10 kg from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 890 and refined palmolein edged up by Rs 2 to Rs 682 per 10 kg as against Rs 680 yesterday.
Moving to the non-edibles segment, castor seeds bold gained by Rs 5 to Rs 4,625 per 100 kg as compared to Rs 4,620 and castor oil commercial inched up per 10 kg to Rs 955.
Linseed oil also rose by Rs 5 to Rs 955 per 10 kg from Rs 950 yesterday. PTI BPD SHW ADI ADI
