The government has finalised the list of flood victims eligible for the immediate assistance of ₹10,000. A government order issued by State Relief Commissioner P.H. Kurian on Wednesday said the list of beneficiaries would be sealed and finalised as on September 5.
The transfer of funds to the account of the beneficiaries in the list will continue. The GO says no fresh addition of beneficiary would be permitted.
However, flood victims who find themselves excluded from the list can move the respective tahsildar with a petition for redressal. The GO said the tahsildar would conduct a detailed inquiry and dispose of the matter.
