Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, Campion School, Bhopal in continuation of its Career Guidance Initiative programme Organised an Army orientation programme today in the “Loyola Auditorium” in School premises specially for the students of Eleventh and Twelfth in order to make the students aware about the Career in the Indian Army by the name of “Students Outreach Campaign”.
The programme starts through the welcoming of the Chief Guest Major Sumit Sharma and Captain Rahul Chawla from 6 JAK RIF by floral bouquets by Vice Principal Fr.Amritlal Toppo S.J. and Senior Teacher Mr. Mahendra Kothari.
In this programme Indian Army Major Sumit Sharma and Captain Rahul Chawla shared information and process of joining Indian Army, Life in the Army, Different cadres in Army, How army build leaders for the nation, What makes the difference between common man and an army man, different entry schemes of army, etc.
Students from Eleventh and Twelfth classes were told about the sublimity and honour of of Indian Army. Captain Rahul Chawla gave information about the entrance exams that has to be cleared to join Indian army and even gave a wide illustration about them, also elucidating many illusions which were there in the hearts and minds of the students.
He even said that, to get the opportunity to serve the country or nation by the means of the Army is a privilege. After wearing the uniform the self-respect and the self-confidence which one get also becomes the part of honour. While replying over the various questions raised by the students Major Sumit Sharma and Captain Rahul Chawla said that uniform not only makes a person disciplined but also a common man important.
On this Occasion Students from Eleventh and Twelfth classes had a thorough discussion about the army entrance exams such as NDA etc. and also got to know about SSB. Fr. In the end of the programme Vice Principal and Teacher Mrs. Chandra Bhargava extended their intense gratitude to Major Sumit Sharma and Captain Rahul Sharma.
