Spot turmeric prices increased at the mandis in Erode on quality arrivals. Arrivals decreased to 2,600 bags on Thursday and traders quoted higher price for quality turmeric. All the 1,100 bags were sold.
The price of finger turmeric was up ₹200 a quintal in all the markets, while that of root variety increased by ₹300-500.
