Facebook COO says about 3% to 4% of accounts are inauthentic

Facebook Inc. FB, -2.90% COO Sheryl Sandberg on Wednesday testified that 3% to 4% accounts are inauthentic. Responding to questions from Sen. Kamala Harris, a California Democrat, at a Senate Intelligence Committee, Sandberg could not quantify what percentage of content was not authentic. Sandberg said it does not benefit the company financially to have anything that's inauthentic.
