Waste clearance at the sites of meeting and parking for the recent ‘Pragathi Nivedana Sabha’ by the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi is continuing, as per information from the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA).
TRS has taken it upon itself to restore the sites at Kongara Kalan in Ranga Reddy district to its original self. The agency which is entrusted with the maintenance of Outer Ring Road will take care of the garbage strewn on the ORR, officials informed. The crash barriers on ORR removed for laying approach roads to the meeting and parking sites are being re-erected, they said.
The crash barriers were broken at 15 locations, to lay the temporary approach roads, and half of them have been restored as of now, after cutting the link to the temporary roads. TRS is expected to pay the agency for restoration of the crash barriers, as also the toll forgone to HMDA.
