Neymar believes Liverpool will NOT finish in the Premier League top four this season - which will ensure the Paris Saint-Germain forward will get an interesting reception when he visits Anfield later this month.
The Brazilian superstar will be part of the French champions’ side when they take on Jurgen Klopp ’s men in a blockbusting Champions League opener in Group C.
Neymar was back in Barcelona recently to take part in the PokerStars European Poker Tour event report the Liverpool Echo .
And, according to The Daily Express , he was asked who he thinks will win the Premier League .
“Who will win it? Woah that’s difficult,” said Neymar. “It’s very hard, very difficult, but Manchester City will win it.
“Second will be United , third is Chelsea . Fourth is Tottenham .”
When pressed on the matter, Neymar confirmed “no Liverpool” - despite his close friend Philippe Coutinho having starred at Anfield for five years and the Reds currently top of the Premier League table after a 100% start to the season.
Neymar was at Anfield in June when he scored a fine goal in the 2-0 World Cup warm-up friendly win over eventual finalists Croatia.
However, the warmth with which his strike was received is unlikely to be replicated in a fortnight.
