Flood-hit Kerala cancels all major celebrations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Kerala government has decided to cancel all major celebrations after the flood disaster in the state.

The fund for all these celebrations will be transferred to the Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund.

All youth festivals, including State Youth Festival, Kerala state Film Festival (IFFK), have been cancelled.

Even the tourism department has cancelled all promotional programmes for the state.
