Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu declined comment on speculations that his party was approached by some parties seeking an electoral alliance in Telangana. Addressing mediapersons at the SecretariatMr. Naidu quipped: “I will answer such questions at an appropriate time.” He also side-stepped a question on his party’s likely stand in the event of the TRS opting for early polls.
On the Supreme Court’s direction to clarify its position whether it was in favour of the establishment of a separate High Court in Hyderabad, Mr. Naidu said construction of the HC building in Amaravati would be completed by December and there was no need to stay in the common capital having almost completely shifted out.
