CM visits Beijing’s Shunyi district, gathers input about hi-tech farming

Chief Minister Raghubar Das during his visit to Beijing’s Shunyi district on the second day of his five-day visit to China said that in the development of Jharkhand, Sakhi Mandals are playing a pivotal role, similarly, in China; the cooperatives of farmers in the field of agriculture have made significant contribution in boosting the country’s economy.

In Jharkhand, this kind of cooperative committee can be formed, which will not only benefit the farmers in sowing and crops production but will allow farmers to participate in the market system independently.

The CM interacted with the farmers in Shunyi District and gathered inputs about the production of the crops and techniques being used for it. Shunyi District is famous as Green Food Production Base and Agricultural Science Demonstration Area.

During the visit of Shunyi District, the CM was accompanied by Minister Rural Development Nilkanth Singh Munda, Urban Development Minister CP Singh, Minister Sports, Tourism Amar Kumar Bauri, Development Commissioner DK Tiwari, Principal Secretary to the CM Sunil Kumar Barnwal and Senior PS Anjan Sarkar.
