Chhattisgarh's development journey during the past 15 years would get a push with the second leg of the Vikas Yatra. We would take inspiration from this to prepare for the next development model, said State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Dharamlal Kaushik.

Kaushik in a statement further claimed that the State's growth trajectory would be continued with BJP National President Amit Shah flagging off the Yatra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi would also participate in the programme after delivering a public address at Janjgir.

“Paying tributes to the Architect of the State late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, we have named the Yatra after him and the government as well as the organization would leave no stone unturned to continue the development process in the region”, he further said.

The state had moved towards the path of development in these 15 years and it is now proving to be a milestone for further growth, he said.

The theory of development of small states was propounded by late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and thus, the party to express gratitude towards him, is going to take out ‘Atal Vikas Yatra’ from Wednesday, he said.

The State has left an imprint of continued development during the past years and the organization is committed to extending the same, he said.

Kaushik also welcomed the resolution of Chhattisgarh government for silver jubilee year 2025 and the formulation of ‘Atal Drishti Patra’. Under leadership of Chief Minister Raman Singh, the state will attain a new form of prosperity, he said.

He further claimed that like Vikas Yatras of 2008 and 2013, this time too, the organization would be benefitted and will succeed in forming the government for the fourth consecutive time.

“This is my personal experience that wherever the programme of Vikas Yatra was organized previously, the party was benefitted from that” he further claimed.
