Mercedes-Benz will unveil its all-electric SUV named the EQC. EQ stands for 'Electric Intelligence' and the automaker says the first series-produced EQ model will be launched in the SUV segment before 2020.
The electric drive system consists of two electric motors, with a system output that can be increased to up to 300kW thanks to scalable battery components.
It will have permanent all-wheel drive.
Mercedes quotes a rather audacious range figure of up to 500km. The press conference will start at 6:30pm (CAT).
