TIVERTON — The Tiverton Public Library announced that 170 teens in grades 6-12 participated in the 2018 Summer Reading Program “Libraries Rock!”

Teens submitted 1,030 participation/engagement tickets in July and August that reported their Summer Reading participation activity. Teens read 365 books this summer. They also reported their virtual learning via the Virtual Field Trips, their participation in Crafternoon activities, and submitted reviews for everything from books to video games to local restaurants.

There were 34 programs (both passive and active) for teens to engage with this summer. Teens also completed 210 hours of community service.
