FOXBORO – Rob Gronkowski won’t respond to Jalen Ramsey’s insults. At least not yet.

Last week, while speaking to ESPN’s Mina Kimes, Ramsey said he thought Gronkowski was overrated and had some not-so-kind things to say about the tight end.

"I don't think Gronk's good," Ramsey said. "Let me say – I don't think Gronk is as great as people think he is."

He added: "Any time Gronk has been matched up with a corner, he's had a very bad game -- and that corner has had a very good game."

The Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback also mentioned that Gronk did “literally nothing” during last year’s AFC title game. Of course, Gronkowski also left that contest with a concussion. He’s also considered the best tight end in NFL history and hold various NFL records like most touchdown receptions by a tight end in a season (17 in 2011) and most receiving yards in a season by a tight end (1,327 in 2011).

On Tuesday, Gronkowski was asked about the comments.

“I mean, we’ve got the Houston Texans this week,” Gronkowski said. “That will be just another time and place to talk about, but as of right now, just really focused on the Texans and just worried about their players and defense. That’s all.”

The Patriots are scheduled to play the Jaguars next week, in Week 2. Will Gronk address the cornerback then?

“Possibility. It’s going to get asked next week, too,” Gronk said.
