Two-day national seminar on Sardar Patel held

A two-day National seminar on Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel and Indian Politics was organised in the city. The seminar began from Sunday at Swaraj Bhavan (Ravindra Bhavan premises) and concluded here on Monday.

The national seminar was organised by Directorate of Swaraj Sanchanalaya, Department of Education, and Dharm Pal, Research Peeth, Bhopal. As many as 20 educationists and experts from different colleges and Universities participated in the seminar.

In the first session of the day, Sambhavalaya Guru talked about contemporary of the merger of Bhopal State in India and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s role in the Bhopal State. Expert of Bihar University presented his research paper. In his presentation, he explained the important role of Sardar Patel in the reform of the Indian Administrative Framework.

Annapurna Shah, Rajkot, described Sardar Patel's style of functioning without describing Gandhi's eloquent influence. Historical analyzes of the martial arts and traditions of Indian Muslims and Sardar Patel.

In the second session, Sanjay Swarnkar, Gwalior talked on the differences between Sardar Patel on Indo-China relations. Dr. Sangeeta Merram, Nagpur said that in 1923, Congress described the contribution of Sardar Patel in "Jhanda Satyagraha". Prafulla Raval said that in 1939, Rajkot did not have the character of a deadly attack on the procession of Sardar Patel in the battle of Nagina Masjid of Bhavnagar. He said that the main target of this attack was Sardar Patel, but he survived childhood.

The national seminar was inaugurated by Principle Secretary of Department of Culture Manoj Shrivastava on Monday.
