‘Modi’s Achchhe Din turned Bure Din’

The BJP-led NDA Government at the Centre has created an undeclared emergency and voice of dissent is painted as anti-nationalism, said Samajwadi Party Odisha unit in its executive body meeting held on Saturday here.

Speaking in the meeting, SP State president Rabi Behera said the Achchhe Din promised by PM Narendra Modi has turned to be ‘Bure Din’ for the common masses.

Fuel prices have soared like anything. Rupee has fallen against dollar thanks to hasty demonetisation and faulty GST. 15 crore people have lost their jobs in MSME and agri sector, he alleged, adding that to divert the attention of the people, the Modi Government was resorting to mob lynching.

Behera called upon the non-BJP forces to come together to one platform to fight the communal BJP.

Behera also criticised the Central Government for rising farmer suicide cases and joblessness, deprivation of insurance money to about 6.15 lakh farmers who suffered crop loss in Odisha and delay in forming an OBC Commission. Earlier, the SP took out a rally in the city over the issues.
