Heavy rain lashed different parts of Uttar Pradesh today throwing life out of gear in many cities. Incessant rain created flood like situation in western part of the state. 20 people lost their lives in rain-related incidents in the past 24 hours.

After Tarai and Eastern part, now Western part of the state is also under threat of flood with water coming from Uttarakhand.

The Indian Air Force airlifted 14 persons in Bundelkhand region which is also reeling under torrential rains.
