Projects worth over Rs 139 crore in Yamunanagar

Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal  on Saturday inaugurated and laid foundation stones of projects worth Rs 139.41 crore  from the premises of Panchayat Bhawan in District Yamuna Nagar.

The Chief Minister inaugurated  the resource center  constructed by the Panchayati Raj Department  at a cost of around Rs 2.10 crore  and dedicated it to the people.  He also laid the foundation stone of projects worth Rs 137.30 crore from these premises which include Swaran Jayanti Park in labour colony opposite ITI Yamuna Nagar. This park would be constructed in 1.32 acres land at an estimated cost of Rs 2.50 crore jointly by  Urban Local Bodies and  Municipal Corporation, Yamuna Nagar.

Manohar Lal also laid the foundation stone of Municipal Corporation office building on Yamuna Nagar Jagadhri road which would be built by Urban Local Bodies and Municipal Corporation, Yamuna Nagar at an estimated cost of Rs 41.26 crore.

He also laid the foundation stone of road to be constructed from Chhachhrauli to Shahpur to be constructed at a cost of around Rs 2.55 crore along with the High Level 5 span bridge on Som River to be constructed at a cost of around Rs 5.42 crore. This road and bridge would be constructed by Public Works Department (Building and Roads). 

The Chief Minister also laid the foundation stone of 200 bedded Mukand Lal Civil Hospital, Yamuna Nagar which would be built at an estimated cost of Rs 77.07 crore by Health Department and Public Works Department (Building and Roads). He also laid the foundation stone of  bridge on Western Canal near village Bhadi Majra to be constructed at a cost of Rs 8.50 crore by Irrigation And Water Resources Department Haryana.
