M. Hanumantha Rao took charge as the Collector of the district on Friday. Similarly, D. Krishna Bhaskar took charge as the Collector of Siddipet. They have replaced V. Venkateswarlu and P. Venkataram Reddy respectively.
In a meeting held with the officials, Mr. Hanumantha Rao urged the officials to take the government programmes to the people. He enquired about the ongoing programmes in the district and their progress. He said that the programmes must be completed within stipulated period.
At Siddipet, Krishna Bhaskar after taking charge as the Collector, interacted with the officials.
NIZAMABAD
M. Venkateswarlu took over the charge as Joint Collector replacing A. Ravinder Reddy here, while D. Yadi Reddy joined as his counterpart in Kamareddy on Friday. Ravinder Reddy, who was on an extension of service after retirement, was asked to report at Chief Commissioner of Land Administration office.
Yadi Reddy, who was RDO and later District Revenue Officer in the erstwhile undivided district, was posted in the clear vacancy. He was the DRO Suryapet before being posted in Kamareddy.
Venkateswarlu after assuming the charge met the Collector M. Ram Mohan Rao.
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA
P. Venkatram Reddy assumed charge as the new Collector of Rajanna-Sircilla district in Sircilla textile town on Friday in place of D. Krishna Bhaskar, who was transferred to Siddipet. Stating that priority would be accorded to public grievance redressal, he urged officials from the mandal to the village level to strictly adhere to office hours. He assured to take all measures for the completion of land acquisition for the 41-km stretch of the proposed Manoharabad to Kothapally railway line and convened a meeting with the tahsildars to review the progress of the land records upgradation.
